Trade show in-cosmetics has launched its first ever app for use at in-cosmetics 2013, which is to be held at the Porte de Versailles, Paris from 16-18 April.
The app features a full exhibitor directory and ‘what’s on’ section, as well as regular updates on show themes, a full event schedule, the latest floor plan and speaker listings. Exhibition news will be sent to a dedicated mail inbox, as well as social media updates from the show’s Twitter feed, blog, YouTube channel and Flickr. Attendees to the show can also create their own personalised agenda, reminding them of their favourite exhibitors, speakers, seminars and products to see.
Cathy Laporte, group marketing manager for in-cosmetics at Reed Exhibitions, said: “in-cosmetics is all about representing the latest, cutting edge developments from within the industry, so we’re delighted to be launching our show app. It means that visitors will have a live event guide in their pocket, providing real time information on all of the show’s aspects. The in-cosmetics app also includes a QR reader, which allows visitors to scan codes ahead of and at the exhibition to obtain key information, such as presentation slides after the show.
