JOKO Cosmetics announces new name and corporate identity

Effective 1 March, JOKO Cosmetics, the Polish colour cosmetics contract manufacturing company, has changed its name to NUCO. This is to better reflect the business brand the company has become and to reposition itself as a leading partner, not just in contract production, but also in innovation.

"After more than 20 years in the business, we have developed some valuable partnerships based on straightforward, practical approach, trust and honesty and learned to really understand and reliably meet the needs of our clients,” explained Grzegorz Wyrzykowski, Sales and Marketing Director at NUCO. The company, whose new name can be interpreted, among others, as “new JOKO”, will draw on this experience, but will place more emphasis on the “NU” part of the business by focusing on strengthening its R&D efforts and accelerating the company’s speed to market.

“The colour cosmetics industry,” Wyrzykowski continued, “has never been as dynamic as it has become in recent years. It means new products are launched all the time and innovations are expected to go to market at incredible speed to meet the ever growing expectations of consumers". The name change and new corporate image communicate NUCO’s commitment to be a solid partner for clients in the fast-paced product development process.

To deliver on its promise to offer state-of-the-art solutions that can be commercialised at competitive speeds, NUCO has invested heavily in its machine park and R&D department. “With two modern production plants and laboratories, new dynamic R&D department, new automated machines for back/front injection and expanded warehouse space, we are ready to face the challenges of the most demanding brand owners,” commented Wyrzykowski. And with plans to further develop their production capacities, build a new assembly shop and intensify QA and R&D activities, NUCO’s staff believe the new name marks the beginning of an exciting chapter in the company’s history.
