German beauty giant Henkel has acquired a Beauty Care plant in Russia from Austria based Wellchem Holding GmbH. The fully operative factory is located near Moscow, and is said to complement Henkel Beauty Care’s existing production capacities.
The acquisition is in line with Henkel’s global strategy to further strengthen its presence in the growth regions, starting with Eastern Europe. The company is popular in this market with mass personal care brands including Schwarzkopf, Syoss and Fa.
