Botanical brand Aveda (Estée Lauder) was honoured with an award by the Cradle to Cradle Products Innovation Institute (C2C), at its inaugural celebration in New York this month. The brand was presented with the First Legacy Leaders Award for its pioneering role in environmental leadership, relating to reusing of materials and its work towards creating a healthier world.
It was recognised also as a founding company that has a strong impact on its industry. Global Brand President, Dominique Conseil, accepted the award. Bridgett Luther, President of the Cradle to Cradle Products Innovation Institute, said, "The entire legacy of Aveda is based on a dedication to environmental responsibility, and we are thrilled to honour them as a leader of environmental and health innovation."
