US direct seller Avon Products has elected Sara Mathew to its board of directors, effective 1 January 2014.
Mathew, who retired this year from her position as Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of The Dun & Bradstreet Corporation, previously held executive roles at Procter & Gamble, including a post as CFO of its Baby Care and Paper Products businesses, and Vice President of Finance in Asia.
"Sara brings to Avon a wealth of experience ranging from business-to-business digital to the consumer products industry," said Doug Conant, Chairman of Avons board of directors. "She has been recognised and celebrated for her transformational leadership and her financial and technological expertise, and will contribute greatly to Avon."
