Packaging and contract manufacturing company Colep, part of RAR Group, has acquired an aerosol personal care products contract manufacturing plant from Aerosoles y Liquidos S.A de C.V., in Santiago de Querétaro, Mexico. With this acquisition, Colep says it will initiate operations in the Central and Northern American contract manufacturing markets for personal care products. The new company, which will trade as Colep S.A de C.V., will serve its existing blue chip customer base, as well as other important multinational, regional and local brand owners.
The plant will be added to Coleps network of ten plants in Europe and Brazil, and the company will make additional investments to increase production capacity and enhance its manufacturing standards.
