UK based fragrance house CPL Aromas has developed a new encapsulation technology called Aromacore, which can be used in a wide range of applications to deliver longer lasting fragrance performance.
Aromacore is initially being offered within the Fabric Care sector, although other product categories are expected to follow shortly. The technology works by locking a fragrance within a protective outer wall, which may be broken later by specific pressure in order to release the fragrance within the core.
Tim Whiteley, Global R&D Director for CPL Aromas, said: “Aromacore uses the very latest technology with melamine and aminoplast resin to create stable capsules with a high fragrance loading capacity.”
