The Sustainable Cosmetics Summit, which will take place in New York from 16-18 May, will focus on the key themes of novel green ingredient, consumer behaviour and marketing developments.
The fourth North American edition of the summit, organised by Organic Monitor, will look at ways of reducing the environmental footprint of cosmetic products by using green ingredients and encouraging sustainable consumption. Case studies will also be given of organisations that are at the cutting edge of sustainable development.
The summit comprises a two-day conference programme, with five dedicated sessions followed by an interactive workshop. The other sessions covered include: sustainability initiatives, CEO roundtable and formulating with green ideas.
