Global chemicals distributor Brenntag has announced a strong third quarter performance with sales increasing by 5.4%, based on constant exchange rates, to €2.47m. Gross profit was also revealed to have grown by 4% to €493.2m overall for the company.
Steve Holland, ceo of Brenntag, commented on the results: “We are very pleased with the development of our gross profit in the third quarter which was achieved under challenging market conditions around the world.
“The very positive development of our share price which topped the €100m mark for the first time confirms our strategy and motivates us further to implement it with all our energy.”
