Tom’s of Maine partners with TerraCycle

Tom’s of Maine, the natural oral and personal care products company, has joined forces with TerraCycle to launch a product packaging recycling programme.

The Tom’s of Maine Natural Care Brigade encourages consumers to collect and send in toothpaste tubes and caps, mouthwash bottles and caps, deodorant containers, plastic soap wrappers and floss containers, from any brand, in order to cut down on landfill.

Susan Dewhirst, goodness programs manager at Tom’s of Maine, said: “At Tom’s of Maine one of our core values is to make packaging as recyclable as possible. We do this directly with our own packaging innovation and standards, but we also invest in partnerships like TerraCycle to help eliminate packaging waste.”
