Oat Cosmetics expands distribution to Australia

UK based oat derived ingredients specialist Oat Cosmetics has expanded its global distribution network into Australia. Ceechem Australia has been appointed exclusive distributor for the country. The Sydney based chemical company currently covers around 95% of the Australian personal care manufacturing industry with its offering of natural cosmetic preservatives, emulsifiers, esters and oils.

“The ‘green’ cosmetics market in Australia is becoming ever more advanced. Manufacturers are placing an increasing emphasis on responsible and renewable raw materials but for a product to simply have natural or organic certification is no longer acceptable to the consumer,” said Patrick Carey, director at Ceechem. “We believe that there is a strong market opportunity for Oat Cosmetics’ high quality ingredients in Australia as they allow for the development of vastly sophisticated natural personal care products in terms of efficacy, appearance and texture.”

Oat Cosmetics says it now has significant worldwide penetration, from North America and Europe to Africa and India.
