The drugstore entrepreneur and DOUGLAS shareholder Erwin Müller has informed DOUGLAS HOLDING AG that he continues to hold around ten percent of the shares in DOUGLAS HOLDING AG through enterprises that are affiliated with him. In compliance with the new legal requirements of the Securities Exchange Act, which went into effect on February 1, 2012, Mr. Müller also provided information about his indirect business dealings involving DOUGLAS shares. Accordingly, Mr. Müller is a writer of so-called sales options and may therefore in the near future be offered approximately 15 percent additional shares by third parties. From its viewpoint, however, DOUGLAS HOLDING AG, is not in a position to assess whether and, if so, when, this may take place.
