DIY Cucumber Facial Mask

Source:NetWork Author:Jafon makeup brushes factory Addtime:2018-03-13 Click:
Using cucumbers on the skin is a great way to effectively treat problem areas without toxic conventional products. Cucumber is known to help reduce dark eye circles, reducing swelling around the eye, rejuvenate tired eyes and calm skin issues. There are tons of great DIY recipes online for cucumber face masks and here are two of my favorite recipes for the do-it-your-self home spa facial!

{DIY Cucumber Toning Mask}

Beauty Buffett suggests using a Cucumber Toning Mask to hydrate and toning skin. The Cucumber Toning Mask recipe creates a gel mask that restores suppleness and radiance to the skin.

Ingredients:

  • 1/2 cucumber
  • 1 egg yolk
  • 2 tbs. ground almonds
  • 2 tbs. honey
  • 2 tbs. ground rolled oats

Peel the cucumber and slice it in half lengthwise. Remove the seeds, then puree the cucumber in a blender or food processor. Add the other ingredients, and blend for 30 seconds.

To Use:
Use immediately. Spread thickly onto clean, dry skin, avoiding the sensitive area around the eyes. Leave on for 10 minutes, then rinse with plenty of warm water and pat dry.

{DIY Cucumber EYE Soother Recipe}

This recipe is perfect to relieve “crying eyes” and helps reduce eye puffiness.

Ingredients:

  • 1 tbs. aloe vera gel
  • 1 tsp. fresh cucumber juice
  • 1/4 tsp. cornstarch
  • 1 tbs. witch hazel

To Use:
Mix aloe, cucumber and cornstarch together. Heat about 1 minute in microwave, until the mixture creates a boil. Remove from heat and stir in 1 Tbs. witch hazel. Stir well and allow the mixture to completely cool. When cooled you will have a clear, jelly-like cream.
Dab a just small amount under your eyes. Leave on for about 15-20 minutes.
