Masaki Douzono becomes new president of Shiseido Germany

Shiseido Co. Ltd, based in Tokyo, is one of the largest cosmetics groups in the world. In 1980 the company entered the German market, founding Shiseido Deutschland GmbH in Düsseldorf. Since 1995 it has been based at the Kai Center in the citys Medienhafen business district, employing some 211 members of staff on site and in field sales. Masaki Douzono runs the company along with Vice President and Managing Director Andreas Sistig.

Shiseido Deutschland GmbH has grown to become Shiseidos central hub in Europe. Since 1997 it has been responsible for the markets in Hungary and the Czech Republic, and since 2000 for Slovakia. The branches in Austria, Belgium, the Netherlands and Poland also belong to Shiseido Deutschland GmbH. Moreover, Shiseido Germany manages European logistics for Shiseido products at the European Distribution Center in Duisburg. As well as the global Shiseido brand, the groups portfolio for Europe also includes the luxury cosmetics brands Carita, Decléor and Serge Lutens.
