Applying false eyelashes takes a few basic steps and a steady hand;

• Pick up false eyelashes at middle of lash with clean tweezers
• Hold false lashes up to eyelash area to determine if false lashes need to be trimmed to be the same or shorter then natural lashes.
• Trim false eyelash width before applying if they are too wide. It’s best for false lashes to be shorter than longer in length for a natural appearance.
• Apply a thin layer of waterproof clear or black eye lash glue to false eyelash edge strip.
• Allow 5-10 seconds for eyelash glue to dry slightly
• Using tweezers apply false eyelash glue strip as close as possible to natural lash line. Press down lightly for makeup lash glue to adhere completely.

• Press down the entire lash strip to natural lash line and hold for 30-60 seconds or longer to allow glue to dry in place.
• Apply a thin coat of liquid eye liner to cover false eyelash line.
• Use an eyelash curler to blend natural and false eyelashes together.
• Finish by applying at least 1 coat of black or brown/black mascara.
• If false eyelashes appear to be longer then the desired effect they can be carefully trimmed with a snub nosed pair of grooming scissors.

To remove false eyelashes gentle eye makeup oil is all that is required. The oil will break the waterproof makeup glue seal while moisturizing the lash line at the same time.

Remember right before a big event, such as a wedding, is not a good time to experiment with applying false eyelashes. Make sure ample time is available for experimenting with different false eyelash lengths and pieces.
