In 1998 Leslie Blodgett first presented Bare Minerals Makeup on QVC and started the Mineral Makeup craze. It is the most popular and best selling mineral foundation. Bare Escentuals is often misspelled as Bare Essentials.
Although the foundation and other original items have remain relatively unchanged, the line has expanded with new colors and products being constantly added.
Bare Minerals Cosmetics includes comprehensive line of minerals, including Mineral Veil (which is their best selling product) and an extensive line of color mineral products for the face, cheeks and eyes. They have even ventured into skin care with their Rare Minerals Skin Care line.
